Residences at Barry Farm

Our new community will have approximately 900 units of housing in multifamily buildings and townhomes. There will be at least 380 affordable replacement units built onsite for former Barry Farm residents, an additional 320 other affordable units, and 200 homeownership units. In addition to housing, the redevelopment will include all new public utility systems, “green” eco-friendly landscaping, community-serving retail, and a large central park with community facilities for on-site services and programs.

The Asberry

Opened in 2024, The Asberry, located at 1200 Sumner Road SE, is a mixed-use building with 108 affordable rental apartments with a preference for those aged 55+, thoughtful amenities and over 5,000 square feet of retail space. With a landscaped courtyard, a wellness room, a fitness center, a community room and a rooftop amenity space, The Asberry is a hub for engagement and community. Visit the leasing website.

The Edmonson

The Edmonson will be the second on-site building for the Barry Farm Redevelopment Project. This multi-family building will have 139 affordable homes for residents.  It will have 50 replacement units for residents returning to Barry Farm. 

Phase 1 Rental Flats

The Phase I Rental Flats will be the third on-site development for the Barry Farm Redevelopment Project. The rental flats will have 98 multi-family rental units in multiple stacked flat buildings. It will have 42 replacement units for residents returning to Barry Farm. 

Building 3

Building 3 will be the fourth on-site building for the Barry Farm Redevelopment Project. It will be a multi-family building with 124 units, plus retail presence on Firth Sterling.  It will have 40 replacement units for residents returning to Barry Farm. 

Building 4

Building 4 will be the fifth on-site building for the Barry Farm Redevelopment Project. The development will be a multi-family building with 126 units, and significant retail space on the ground level.  It will have 40 replacement units for residents returning to Barry Farm.
